High Holy Day Schedule 5783/2022

Dear members of the Community and anyone hoping to spend the High Holy Days with us, we are very excited about the plans being made for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot. This year is quite exciting as we are a new Community and we have started from scratch. Our first High Holidays represents quite a moment in the life of our little Synagogue without walls.

Please know that everyone who plans to attend services must RSVP. We will develop a master list, and we will be unable to admit anyone who is not on the list. We know you understand that these precautions are necessary for the security of our Community. Out-of-town family members are welcome to join all services, but please let Rabbi Julie know who is coming so their names can be added to the list.

Our holidays will begin with Selichot at the Groom Creek Schoolhouse on Saturday, Sept. 17, and end Oct. 17 with our Simchat Torah Celebration. In between will be High Holiday services at the UU Granite Creek Peak, a catered Rosh Hashanah dinner, a potluck break-the-fast, building a sukkah and more!

We are asking for a $50 gift per adult to help defray the many costs of these High Holidays. Here is a list of some of the items that we will use these funds to cover:

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17, 3 P.M. SELICHOT

Come to the historic Groom Creek Schoolhouse in Prescott National Forest at 3 p.m. as we step into the season of the Holy Days.
